Both the new releases of the Moto series are nearly of the same specifications and prices. The Plus version of the C series has an improved screen resolution and battery. Here are the latest news of the Moto C and C Plus.
Release Date: Both the phones were announced to be available at the beginning of spring, which is very soon.
Price: Moto C will be priced around £89.99 SIM Free and the C Plus will cost approximately £109.99.
Moto C, Moto C Plus Features & Specifications:
Display: The Moto C will have 5.0in FWVGA display and a resolution of 854×480, whereas the C Plus will HD display with 1280×720 resolution and GFM, with the same screen size.
Design: Both the phones will be available in red, black and gold colours, with curved edges.
Camera & Battery: Moto C will have a 5Mp rear camera, video recording HD@30fps, VGA@30fps and 2Mp front camera with selfie flash. The Plus version will have an 8Mp camera, video recording HD@30fps, VGA@30fps and the same front camera.
The C and C plus will have 2350mAh and 4000mAh non-removable battery respectively.
OS & Power: It is powered with MTK 6737M 64-bit quad-core 1.1GHz processor with 1 GB RAM and the Moto C Plus will run in MediaTek MT6737 64-bit quad-core 1.3GHz processor with either 1 or 2 GB RAM.
Other Features: Both the Moto C and C Plus will have 16GB built-in memory that is expandable by up to 32GB MicroSD. The Bluetooth is same for both the handsets i.e., 4.2, and so is the 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi. The weight of the handsets is different. C weighs 154g and the C Plus 162g. Both has 3.5mm audio jack. The best upgrade of the latest C series is the battery, which is expected to give a backup of more than two days.
