Motorola started soak testing Moto G2 Android Marshmallow update

Motorola now made an announcement that it has started soak testing Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for its second generation Moto G smartphone. The update is being tested for both the LTE and 3G variants of the Moto G2 handset. Yesterday, there was some news revealing that Motorola will soon release the Android Marshmallow update for its Moto G (second generation) handset.


The manufacturer has started soak testing Android update for its second generation Moto G device in India and Brazil. Motorola’s senior director of software product management, David Schuster, made this announcement via Google+. This information has come out just a few hours after the company released the Marshmallow update notes for this handset on India’s support website.

For those, who are not aware soak test means that only a small number of users will get this update on its Motorola Moto G2 phone. If everything goes well then a full launch will be following shortly.
