According to the reports, Samsung Pay will launch in the UK and Spain early this year. It is revealed by Nathalie Oestmann, the head of Samsung Pay Europe, that they will be launching in UK very soon but did not tell anything about the exact date for its launch. However, he does reveal that they might launch the Samsung Pay at the MWC event in Barcelona.
With Apple Pay launching in UK this July, it’s time for Samsung to whip its payment service in order to keep itself on the top of the competition. The Samsung Pay is expected to work on almost any payment card terminal. Also, it is a convenient system that can be used to make payments using your saved credit or debit cards.
Currently, the Samsung Pay feature works only on the latest devices of the company such as Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+, S6 Active and Note 5. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will soon be added to this list. We know that Samsung will launch its upcoming flagship phone, Galaxy S7, at the MWC event on 21st Febraury. So, we can expect the Samsung Pay to finally be launched in UK on the same date, currently the feature is available for US and Korean customers.
