Latest Contract phones from Nokia, You May Like
The iconic Nokia brand returned back in business in 2017, thanks to the Finnish startup HMD which signed a 10-year old deal with the brand and even agreed to stick to the ‘Nokia’ name on smartphones and tablets.
However, as per latest reports, the makers are all set to introduce some ‘controversial’ new features in the upcoming second edition. Here is all you need to know about the soon-to-be-released device.
About Nokia 6: The Second-Generation Model
The Nokia 6 (2018) was recently spotted on 12th December, on a certification authority’s online database. It was seen to boast of an ultra-tall, bezel-less QHD display along with a Snapdragon 630 in its tow.
Well, if these reports are to be believed, it can be said that the makers have done significant improvements on the Snapdragon 430 CPU and the 5.5-inch Full HD screen, found on the original model. The earlier Nokia 6 was launched in January 2017.
The Much Controversial Feature
In the second-generation model, it seems that Nokia may make the controversial decision to move the fingerprint scanner. The physical Home button which sat on the front of the original Nokia 6, may be moved to the back in the 2018 edition. The Android 8.0 Oreo-powered Nokia 6 is even expected to have a dual SIM-SIM slot, 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
As far as the availability of Nokia 6 (2018 edition) is concerned, there has not been any confirmation so far. It is even expected that the specs may be revised ahead of the device’s global launch.
