Huawei P9 looks different in new renders, will not be announced on 9th March

MWC is now gone and we have not yet got the next generation flagship phone from Huawei, the P9. A few days ago, the Chinese manufacturer sent out the invites for an event to be held on 9th March in Berlin. This was when we assumed that the company will make its P9 phone official at the event. However, now there are reports that this handset will not be unveiled at the above mentioned date.

According to the latest report from China, Huawei will not unveil its P9 phone on 9th March. It has been confirmed by the unnamed officials of the company that this phone exists and is under works but the project has suffered a few delays. Currently, the company needs to improve some technical issues related to this dual camera handset. Due to this, the release of the upcoming Huawei P9 phone is delayed by a month.

However, no exact date is mentioned but we can are sure that the next generation flagship of the Chinese maker will be announced in the coming months. This source also claims that this smartphone will not get 6GB RAM as was rumored previously. Also, there will be no brans new Kirin Chipset and the maker will use the same Kirin 950 which it used on the Mate 8 smartphone.

Some new renders have leaked out showing the new Huawei P9 phone and these confirm a dual camera setup. These pictures are quite different from the ones leaked out in the last two batches. There is no laser autofocus added to this phone this time and the fingerprint scanner on the back of this smartphone is now made round. However, the rumors showed this fingerprint sensor to be squared in the past.

Further, the positions of the front facing camera and the proximity sensor are also changed. The actual design of this phone is currently unclear, with two different perspectives claiming to be leaked renders of the real phone.
Another rumor regarding the Huawei P9 phone is that a Huawei EVA L09 is certified by FCC and this could be one of the models from the top line of devices from the manufacturer. If this is true, then at least one of the four versions of this device will feature a 2,900 mAh battery as revealed by FCC documents.

HTC One M10 got its first teaser video

HTC One M10 has now got its first teaser image and the things regarding this smartphone are now taken one step further. A teaser video is also released by the Taiwanese giant for this smartphone through its Turkish YouTube Channel.

This video still shows a hashtag “#powerof10”, with the name One M10 now confirmed officially by the manufacturer. We can clearly see in the video that the tech giant has tried his level best to show us anything even remotely resembling the handset. Some great sounding things are shown in this video about the HTC doing struggle to find ways to “make your phone even better”.

It’s shown that the employees in the company are not even going home at night but are instead choosing to work on One M10 handset, with which they are quite obsessed in a good way. However, we have not yet got any invite for the unveiling event for this smartphone but we assume that we are just a few weeks away from the same.

As per reports, HTC’s One M10 will get a “very compelling camera” and will come with three wonderful storage options including 16/32/64 GB. It sports a 5.1 inch AMOLED touchscreen display and a fingerprint scanner. This phone is powered by the Snapdragon 820 chip and 4GB RAM for faster processing. It runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system on board.

LG G5: Expectations from LG’s 2016 flagship model

LG G5 is expected to be launched in just three weeks with a huge list of features such as innovative design, fast charging, easy one handed use and better optimization. When LG G4 was released in May 2015, this leather phone impressed its users a lot. Since the release of this phone we have also got some new android handsets emerge such as Nexus 6P and Sony Xperia Z5 that offer features not found on G4 handset.

Good Innovation:

When the Korean giant launched its original G Flex phone two years ago, it stood out from the crowds at the premium end of the smartphone market. This curved phone, which could be bent without shattering the screen, was a precursor to the Samsung’s Galaxy Note Edge handset. Both these devices boast the innovative designs. The curvy build of this smartphone actually help you hold the phone more comfortably in your palm despite of its bloody large size.

LG has promised even better flexible tech in the future and has invested £600 million in a display plant last year that is located in South Korea. With this our expectations lie hugely towards a proper bendy screen on the upcoming LG G5 phone. However, we are not surprised to see advancement in LG G Flex technology shown off in the LG’s launch event to be held on 21st February. We should also expect the Korean giant to reveal two new models of the G5 handset in this case i.e. a standard G5 and a flexible model, even a G Flex 3.
Because the Korean giant is manufacturing heavy for display manufacturing which means increased prices for the company. On the other hand, the ability to mass produce the dislays will mean a standard market cost for the upcoming G5 handset.

Survival of the fittest:

LG G3 and G4 have survived impressively in several flips in the months we had been using them. We saw G3 falling from a distance of four feet, which could have killed it off but the phone was still in a perfect working order though its plastic casing was cracked a bit.

Motorola proved out its worth with the Moto X Force handset which was rugged enough, we want the next generation flagship phone from LG to be just as tough and come with a screen which can’t be smashed. Sony Xperia Z5 turned out to be more fragile than hoped; it appealed outdoor enthusiasts giving it an edge over the competition. We want our LG G5 smartphone to be something that can stand on the top in the competition.

Use the leather and ditch the plastic:

LG G3 and G4 were decent looking smartphones, but we would like the Korean giant to ditch the plastic in its new flagship model. But this depends on whether LG wants its upcoming phone to simply look good or stand out from the rest of the line-up that will be launched at the MWC event. LG G4 was an impressively stunning phone with its leathery backside, which gave it a unique look and feel. However, the textured surface fitted this handset perfectly on your palm which made it perfect to use one-handed.

Satisfaction with single handed feature:

The G4 handset had a one-handed mode for keyboard but we are hoping to see a more intelligent feature in the upcoming G5 phone. It will be a winner if its gets features that are easy to activate on a whim and allows you to use all the apps without dislocating your thumb.

Pop it out:

Today, when every smartphone is coming with an embedded power cell, LG will stick to a pop-off back and removable battery. We are hoping the G5 phone to retain this feature even though you have a choice to pick up some affordable chargers. If this upcoming phone can last for two full days between charges then it’s great.

Fast and cable-free:

Another feature related to battery is fast charge, so G5 is capable of soaking up enough juice to keep it going for a few hours until we give it up a panic power before leaving the house. Also, the built-in wireless charging is good especially if LG uses Type C USB in its upcoming flagship phone, G5.

Optimal Optimization:

LG’s phones performed quite well at the beginning but then lack a proper optimization, they started showing the signs of ageing after being used for a couple of months. The only solution available was to us clean up app or when things become more frustrating, then just wipe up this handset and start again.

Fingerprint Sensor:

Lg Finger Print Scanner

We would like to see a super secure way to unlock the G5 beyond the Trusted Places and Devices of Android. One of such features that is used by most flagships now and is also supported actively by Android Marshmallow is the fingerprint sensor. As per reports, the fingerprint sensor will be housed on the back of the G5 phone, just like Nexus 5X’s scanner.

Class action lawsuit filed against Apple’s iPhone Error 53

Apple’s iPhone Error 53 has declared the phones of thousands of users unusable after a software update. As per the reports, this Error is now the focus of a class action lawsuit in US. PCVA, which is a Seattle law firm, has followed through the lawsuit in the country to sue Apple over this error. It is suggested that this error occurs when ever users update the software of their iPhone after using a third party repair store to fix the Touch ID sensor on it.

Apple inc

The Cupertino’s giant is facing criticism over its Error 53. It is said in a statement by Darrell Cochran from PCVA that we have never seen any materials from Apple ever showing a disclosure that your iPhone device will self-destruct itself if you download new software onto it. In addition, he said that if in any condition Apple wants to kill your phone for any reason then it should make it crystal clear in advance, before the damage is done to your phone.

As per reports, this Error 53 will also put your device at security risk if you use a third party app to change the Touch ID button including the fingerprint scanner technology. However, on the other hand many users have claimed that their devices have even failed when they had not got their TouchID repaired. Some claim that the company is forcing them by the way of this error to get their handsets fixed for a greater cost in Apple’s high street stores.

Huawei P9 schematic confirms a fingerprint scanner and dual cameras

Recently, Huawei rolled out its Mate 8 smartphone and the company has already sold out 8 million units of this phone. We got the specifications leaked for this phone sometime in October last year and these were then confirmed by FCC in December. A similar kind of results is expected out from the upcoming flagship phone of the Chinese maker, Huawei P9.

As we know, the successor of the P8 phone is about the get released in a few weeks because of which we are getting more and more leaks and rumors about it nowadays. Today, we have got some information about the P9 handset from Huawei in the form of a leaked schematic. It can be clearly viewed in the schematic that the phone is a big departure from the design of P8 released in 2015.

The Chinese maker has provided this new handset with a physical Home button on the front place under the screen, which has a fingerprint scanner. For this fingerprint sensor only, the software rendered android buttons are let to forgo otherwise this would not have been done. We can clearly see a dual camera setup on the back of the phone with a dual LED flash. There is a sole speaker on the bottom side of this smartphone with the 3.5 mm headset jack.

As per reports, the frame of this device will be made using the metal material but it’s still not clear whether this will be extended to the back as well or will just be a sheet of glass. We can expect this smartphone to get official at the MWC event in February and will be released to the stores in March.

Lenovo phone passes through TENAA might be K5 Note

Lenovo is working hard to expand its product lineup by bringing some new offers such as the metal Lemon 3, which has just been rolled out and the K4 Note which is already available. Now, there are reports that the OEM is working hard over the successor of this handset. It is understood because the K4 Note is already achieving great success.

According to the reports, a new member is coming to this lineup Lenovo K5 Note which has just been spotted at TENAA with the model number K52t38. However, there is one major problem with this handset which can’t be ignored i.e. this smartphone looks almost similar to some recent phones from Xiaomi and Meizu.

For instance, if we take the Redmi Note 3 from Xiaomi then the resemblance is in its camera size and the position along with the LED flash, round fingerprint scanner and the speaker grill. Even the curve and clean front look is also almost identical.

TENAA confirmed a few specifications of this handset; it will come with a 5.5 inch Full HD IPS display. Lenovo has powered its upcoming K4 Note with an octa core processor clocked at 1.8 GHz speed. This phone measures 152 x 75.5 x 8.49 mm dimensionally and is provided by LTE and Wi-Fi connectivity. The K4 Note has two variant one with an internal storage of 16GB and 2GB RAM. While the second variant will get 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM.

It has a 13MP rear snapper and an 8MP front facing camera for clicking quality pictures in low light conditions with the LED Flash available. The phone is packed with 3,500 mAh battery backup which is capable of lasting for long hours.
