Google Pixel 2 rumours: UK release date, price and specification

After releasing a series of Nexus smartphones, Google has finally switched their branding from Nexus to Pixel. The Google Pixel 2 will be launching this October and as per expectation, it will be assailed as one of the best smartphones on the market. Specialists are labelling it as Android’s answer to the iPhone 7. The robustness of Pixel 2 is its camera and the brand new Google Assistant.

UK release date rumour:
The major design feature of Google Pixel 2 is it is waterproof. The Pixel 2 is still in the rapid stages of development. This lack of an ultimate design, with the fact that the first Pixel was only released in October 2016, indicates that a Pixel 2 will possibly be released in October 2017. Google Pixel 2UK Price of Google Pixel 2:
Though the starting price of the regular model of the Pixel is £599 and larger XL version is £719. We can expect the SIM-free Pixel 2 to cost over £600. The increased price level for its technology development is highly expected.

Google Pixel 2 at a glance:

• Dustproof and waterproof technology.
• Release predicted late 2017.
• Possible budget handset option.

To respond criticism Google conjecture on changes on the design. These changes will feature in the Pixel 2 smartphone. Regular Pixel phone has many different types of skills and abilities but its look was not outstanding. Through this handset, Google will also offer a budget version.

Rumoured specifications:
Rumours have already started circulating about Pixel 2.The Google Pixel 2’s camera is set to be a focus of the handset, just as the regular Google Pixel. Google is placing importance on high-quality low-light photography. When it comes to specs, the Pixel 2 will no doubt have the latest and greatest components. Design wise, it differs drastically from its predecessor.

Awesome battery life of Google Pixel XL

Googles Pixel XL is famously known for its battery life. The phone keeps you going for the entire day. If you do not have any charge on your phone, then just with a 15 minute charge you can survive up to 7 hours.

The Pixel XL runs for 130 hours. In the meantime, you can play your favourite tracks. Around 14 hours can be spent on Wi-Fi and 13 hours if your connection is a 4G. As some tests proved that the phone lived for more than 24 hours. During this duration videos were streamed, apps were downloaded, games were played as well as notifications kept on pouring in. Still the phone has 2% of charge after all this activity. google-pixelMany people claimed that the phone became very hot while charging. There is also a controversy while charging the Google Pixel XL phones. When charged with its own charger then the charge shoots up in just 15 minutes. While when charged with another charger the charge does not shoot up so fast. So we can see that there is a fast and a slow charging till the battery is charged up.

The Pixel XL does not use any cunning tricks to squeeze the juice out of the phone. A mode called Doze works awesomely which enables users to receive notifications on time. When you are travelling and you would need your phone at all times then you should surely carry Pixel XL along with you. This is a certain fact that if you continuously stream videos and watch movies in your phone then you will surely drain your battery. This sort of a situation is generally unexpected from Googles Pixel XL.

A 18 watt wall charging is also encouraged by The Pixel XL. This makes charging much faster than what is usually expected.

Are Google’s Pixel and Pixel XL Phones Really Waterproof?

When Google’s Pixel and the Pixel XL feature some exceptional specifications, there is one, unfortunately, absolute missing feature: Waterproofing.
Notably other premium smartphones like iPhone 7, Galaxy S7 etc. can survive an unexpected rainstorm without any problem, but the Pixel and the Pixel XL are just certified to bear a little amount of moisture and dust.

What is really meant by IP53?

The Pixel and the Pixel XL are certified to IP53 rating. IP stands for International Protection and often also called Ingress Protection, and the numbers after IP signifies how safeguarded a device is against interference by foreign things such as water and dust particles. 5, the first number signifies how safeguarded the product is against dust, whereas 3, the second number signifies how safeguarded the product is against

A rating of 5 means the Pixel is protected from dust. It is not completely sealed; although it is enough safeguarded that any dust which happens to get inside will not impact the performance of the device. In other words, the Pixel must continue to perform well even if you end up trapped in a sandstorm in the Sahara’s middle although it will receive some sand and dust inside it.

However, the dust rating is not the problem; the water rating is. A rating of 3 means the Pixel is just hardly waterproof. It must be capable of withstanding water falling as a spray of every angle up to 60 degrees from the vertical and it should pass a test which engages being sprayed for nearly 5 minutes. In other words, you will be good if you are caught in a little shower with any of these phones, but you must not go running in the rain with them. You can’t drop it in the toilet or sink and you must definitely not have it anywhere near a pool.
