HTC One M10 has now got its first teaser image and the things regarding this smartphone are now taken one step further. A teaser video is also released by the Taiwanese giant for this smartphone through its Turkish YouTube Channel.
This video still shows a hashtag “#powerof10”, with the name One M10 now confirmed officially by the manufacturer. We can clearly see in the video that the tech giant has tried his level best to show us anything even remotely resembling the handset. Some great sounding things are shown in this video about the HTC doing struggle to find ways to “make your phone even better”.
It’s shown that the employees in the company are not even going home at night but are instead choosing to work on One M10 handset, with which they are quite obsessed in a good way. However, we have not yet got any invite for the unveiling event for this smartphone but we assume that we are just a few weeks away from the same.
As per reports, HTC’s One M10 will get a “very compelling camera” and will come with three wonderful storage options including 16/32/64 GB. It sports a 5.1 inch AMOLED touchscreen display and a fingerprint scanner. This phone is powered by the Snapdragon 820 chip and 4GB RAM for faster processing. It runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system on board.
HTC is expected to release its upcoming One M10 phone at a special to be held in a few weeks from now. Now, there are reports that a confirmation for the name of HTC’s One M10 has popped up on the official website of the company. It is reported that the name is confirmed via the HTML code of the web survey, which can also be seen in the screenshots below.
More interesting things is the alleged photo sample from the One M10 phone, which according to an executive from HTC, will feature a “very, very compelling camera experience.” As per rumors, this camera will be 12MP, just like the one on iPhone 6S and Samsung Galaxy S7 phone. The camera of the upcoming phone of the Taiwanese giant will feature a large aperture and laser autofocus.
You can see below the random picture posted below which is accompanied by the shot’s EXIF data, which has an f/1.9 aperture. HTC’s One M9 had an f/2.2 lens while the new One M10 will get an f/1.9 which is not up to par with the Samsung Galaxy S7 phone and its value is also nothing to sniff at all. The camera resolution for this handset is listed at 2250 x 4000 pixels for 9MP count in the 16:9 aspect ratio.
This year, the smartphone camera wars are shaping to be unprecedented. The Galaxy S7 has a large 1.4 micron dots and Dual Pixel autofocus, while on the other hand the newly announced G5 phone from LG has a dual wide angle camera. Sony’s Xperia X series got Predictive Hybrid Autofocus, which is also added by Apple to its upcoming iPhone 7 handset. On the other hand, the Taiwanese giant has come up with a compelling camera experience, which will be good enough to click your day to day memories.
HTC will not launch its One M10 smartphone at the MWC event in Barcelona, but instead has opted for a special event to be held later this year. As per reports, the grand announcement for its next generation flagship might or might not be scheduled for 11th April. Now, the Taiwanese giant has rolled out the first teaser image of this smartphone.
The teaser image shows the edges of this upcoming smartphone, which seem like made out of a metallic piece with plenty of chamfering going on. This leaked image was posted on the official twitter account of HTC, alongside the hashtag “powerof10”.
It is pretty much confirmed that the number 10 is the name of this smartphone. So, we can expect it to be the upcoming flagship phone, HTC One M10. This handset is codenamed as “Perfume”. As per the rumors in the past, HTC’s One M10 is packed with a 5.1 inch QHD AMOLED Touchscreen display. This smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip and 4GB RAM for faster processing.
There is an internal storage of 32GB which can further be expanded using microSD slot. There is a 12MP UltraPixel primary camera with phase detection and laser autofocus and optical image stabilization. HTC has provided this smartphone with a 5MP front facing snapper for clicking good quality selfie images. This phone will run on the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system with Sense 8 user interface.
HTC’s One M10 is in news for quite some time now and is expected to get an announcement event in March. This handset is rumored to be the big return of the Taiwanese giant in the market, following the controversial One A9, which is an expensive mid-ranger phone and the premium model One X9 exclusive in Asia.
However, the HTC One M10 phone was expected to be announced at the MWC event to be held in Barcelona in the coming days but now there are reports that its announcement is pushed to March. We know the predecessor of this upcoming flagship phone of the Taiwanese giant, One M9 was also announced in a separate event held in March 2015. So, this decision of the manufacturer to announce it in a separate event and not at MWC has not come as a surprise to us.
Now, a new rumor has surfaced putting some light on the official launch date for this event. As per reports, the announcement event which was previously to take place in London will be carried out on 11th April. It is also reported that the One M10 phone will lose the M10 for another moniker but the One brand will remain with the company.
Recently, we saw a leaked image of this smartphone with a missing logo of the company at the bottom of the screen. This image made it look almost similar to the One A9 handset of the maker which was released in late December last year. Thus, we can say that the One M10 phone follows the design language of One A9.
There is a 5.1 inch QHD AMOLED screen display and is powered by Snapdragon 820 chip or unspecified MediaTek chipset. This smartphone sports a 4GB RAM for fast processing speed and runs on the latest Android 6.0.1 with Sense 8 UI. It has a 12MP UltraPixel rear camera with optical image stabilization and laser assisted AF.
According to the recent reports, HTC is expected to unveil its next flagship smartphone, One M10, at a dedicated event and not at the MWC event to be held in Barcelona in the end of this month. Though, this is wise step seeing that both the LG G5 and Samsung Galaxy S7 will be launched on the same day ahead of the MWC event.
Recently, a list showing the specifications of this upcoming M10 phone was leaked and today we are being treated with an alleged live image of this handset. It can be seen in the image that the HTC logo is missing from the front of the M10 phone nor there is any black bar as found in the previous One handsets from the company. However, there is a fingerprint scanner and Home button under the screen.
There are power and volume buttons on the right side of this phone, with the former nicely ridged. This lets you guess the buttons easily without even looking at them. Also, there is no front facing speaker underneath the display, so we can assume that the BoomSound will be missing for this smartphone.
This leaked image is out as the courtesy of @evleaks, who is a reliable source and has shown many real time images in past as well. The image shows that this phone will resemble a bit to the HTC One A9 and not the previous handsets of the company.
For specs, the One M10 smartphone is expected to come in a full metal construction just like the predecessors. It will get a 5.1 inch QHD AMOLED Touchscreen display and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset. There is an internal storage of 32GB which is expandable using microSD slot and 4 GB RAM for fast processing.
HTC has provided this handset with a 12MP UltraPixel rear camera with laser autofocus and optical image stabilization. It will run on the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with the Sense 8 UI on top.
A few days ago, there was some news from the famous leakster @evleaks that the upcoming HTC One M10 handset will sport looks similar to the One A9 released recently. Today, the leakster has again come out with some more on this handset, and this time it’s a complete list of specifications of this handset.
HTC’s One M10 will sport a 5.1 inch QHD AMOLED Touchscreen display. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4GB RAM for faster processing. There is an internal storage of 32GB, out of which 23GB is user accessible and can be expanded further using microSD card slot.
The handset is provided with a 12MP rear camera with Ultra Pixel count, and laser autofocus and optical image stabilization. The front camera of this handset will get Optical Image Stabilization. Unlike, the past offerings of this smartphone, this upcoming phone will sport front facing stereo speakers. However, the manufacturer has also embedded a fingerprint sensor in the Home button, and is placed below the screen.
HTC One M10 will run on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow with HTC Sense 8 user interface. As was rumored previously, this handset will not be unveiled at the MWC event in February but the Taiwanese giant has instead scheduled a dedicated event to launch this smartphone.
As MWC 2016 is about to approach us soon, the rumour mill is exploding with information about the next generation flagship phones of the company such as LG G5 and Samsung Galaxy S7. We are expecting the aforementioned handsets to make a debut appearance soon but there are still some more flagship phones which are worth waiting for.
Recently, the Taiwanese OEM revealed the information on the One X9, which is fine, but we are also interested in knowing the “M” family. If we believe Evan Blass, who is a worthy source of mobile information in the past, HTC’s One M10 model is codenamed “Perfume” and is still alive.
There is some information leaked by @evleaks shared on Twitter which reveals that the One A9 fans will find the upcoming One M10 phone quite appealing. This shows that this new handset will get a similar kind of design as is carried by its slim and metal unibody sibling. The reports also suggest a similar stripped down approach to the Sense UI of the manufacturer itself.
On the other hand, it appears from the looks of this device that it will not make it on time for the upcoming MWC event. So, we will have to wait some more for the HTC One M10 phone to appear even after the event. According to another rumor, HTC might roll it out in March only so we will not have to wait longer to get our hands-on this device.
HTC’s One M10 will come with a fingerprint scanner for some security reasons. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset and will get a 3,000 mAh battery. There is a 23MP rear snapper which is capable of clicking better quality images even during the sunlight. Also, there are reports suggesting that this handset will be I68 certified, which makes it water and dust resistant. Evan Blass has promised to deliver more information on the handset in future, so we will be keeping an eye on his Twitter account to bring more information for our readers.
A few hours ago, HTC made an announcement that it will not launch its next flagship phone at MWC event in February but at another dedicated event to be held in March. Now, this has been confirmed by another rumor as well. Although this source has also leaked some accurate information about HTC in the past, but still we should not trust them blindly and make sure to keep it as a grain of salt.
HTC’s new M10 handset will run on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow with its Sense 8.0 UI. This handset is said to come with two new hardware versions and two chipsets powering it. According to the rumors, we can see a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset in US and Europe, while in China and South East Asia HTC’s phone might come packed with a MediaTek SoC chip.
However, its March unveiling will explain it well that what will come packed in this smartphone from the Taiwanese giant. Until then, all we have is to make assumptions on the basis of leaks and rumors about the M10 phone. But we are expecting to hear something more on this smartphone in the coming weeks.
HTC was also rumored to manufacture two new Nexus devices for Google in 2016. If it’s true, then this year definitely has much in its account to deliver to the customers.
