HTC U11 & LG G6- Which Has The Best Built And Design?
LG has replaced those plug-in bits and pieces of G5 with a gorgeous layout. This design can remove all those bezels, allowing users to have an impressive Quad HD 5.7 inch screen. Further with an aspect ratio of 18:9, G6’S display is taller than the screen size of 16:9 which has not appeared on many phones much.
In comparison, U11 features a somewhat smaller screen of Quad HD 5.5 inch. However, it boasts of an excellent panel due to its amazing dimensions. While HTC U11 boasts of 154 × 76 × 7.9mm, LG G6 bears a dimension of 148 × 71.9 × 7.9mm.
LG G6 is very comfortable since users can single-handedly use it for various tasks. On the other hand, in spite of being a slightly bulkier device, one can easily use it with both hands. With vibrant colours and curvy edges, it is even more attractive than G6. What’s more, thanks to its IP67 rating, you an even submerge it in up to 1m of fresh water for about 30 minutes.
MWC 2017 is around the corner. It will start on 27th February and you’re going to see many great new products in store after that. Here we will discuss what you can expect from all mobile brands including Sony, Samsung, LG, Huawei, HTC and more.
The report says that Samsung won’t be declaring the Galaxy S8 at MWC 2017. Rather it will show Galaxy Tab S3 and Galaxy TabPro S2 tablets.
We are already quite sure that LG will showcase its new G6 at MWC 2017. Even the company is thinking about introducing its new Android Wear smartwatches as well in a tie-up with Google.
We are quite confused about Sony X series smartphones. If we go with the leak, we can predict that Sony is going to launch 5 devices at the show. We would still like to see the Xperia XZ and want Sony to unveil the Xperia Z5 or Z6.
In terms of Samsung, we are not very sure about what the firm will do at MWC. As per its announcement of HTC U Ultra and U-Play, we can predict to see the HTC 11.
So many people are waiting to see the new flagship phone 2017 of Huawei. It has scheduled a press conference on 26th February and we predict that it will launch the Huawei P10 on that day. The company could also surprise us by launching a new tablet or a Huawei Watch 2 with Android Wear 2.0.
Nokia, Motorola, Microsoft and Xiaomi:
Plenty more phones can be expected at MWC 2017. Both Nokia and Motorola have already sent out invites. Motorola is tipped to introduce the Moto G5 and Nokia might launch a tablet and a P1 phone with a Snapdragon 835. Even, we might ultimately meet the long-rumoured Microsoft Surface Phone. We are also looking for other devices like Xiaomi MI 6.

In terms of Nexus range, we always find a huge gossip regarding the next incoming Nexus gadgets. This huge buzz includes about its feature, look and definitely its design as well. It was usual up until last year that there would be a new Nexus device by the close of the similar year. Nevertheless, last year it changed while Google determined to launch 2 Nexus mobile phones simultaneously, one from LG and another one from Huawei. As an outcome, there was always a probability that Google would continuously unveil Nexus smartphones in twos. Earlier this year, a sentiment gained while in January a report ultimately succeeded back recommending that in 2016, two new Nexus handsets would appear.
Well, according to the report of January, it was not the most interesting part. In fact, the major parts of the report basically focused on the recommendation that those two Nexus handsets would be manufactured by HTC only. And additionally, the concept of these two new smartphones from the same maker, the way it was HTC, an organization who quite recently had experienced a turbulent 2015 in the mobile world, included in the idea. All things considered, the reports basically came through and these two gadgets were in fact previously assigned with the codenames T50 and T55 supposition to be that one would be a 5.5 inch device and another one would be a 5 inch device.
Presently, an interesting tweet by @evleaks seems to confirm that HTC are functioning on 2 new Android smartphones. This tweet, especially affirms that these two devices are actually being built for Google and they are Android N devices, while these two are not particularly named as Nexus handsets by @evleaks. Thus, the clear supposition is that these two are probably to be the earlier rumored Nexus handsets during this current year. It is also an unfortunate thing that this tweet doesn’t really get involved with much info regarding the actual smartphones and thus, there is no more detail in respect of what the devices resemble or more significantly how they differ from each other. Nevertheless, it is also affirmed by @evleaks that right now they are internally to be identified as M1 and S1.
HTC was expecting that its Vive VR headset will bring some profitability for the company. The company is already bearing the loss incurred from their previous flagship phone, HTC One M9. The vive era got off to a good start for the Taiwanese giant when it crossed $12 million sales in the first 10 minutes after accepting the pre-orders for this smartphone.
But now the reports are suggesting that a problem has developed processing issues with the financial institutions. This has led to the accidental cancellation of the Vive pre-orders. However, the Taiwanese giant is working with its customers and the banks over this issue and has also already reinstated orders for a number of customers.
HTC’s Vive comes to you with a price tag of $799.99 and is expected to be shipped by 4th April in some parts of the world. If you received a notice that your Vive order was cancelled automatically then you should immediately call back your financial institution and bank. Or, just give the manufacturer a call at (888) 216-4736.
As we already told, HTC is expecting some big gains from the new Vive device. It was said back in January by HTC’s co-founder and current CEO, Cher Wang that “Smartphones are important, but to create a natural extension to other connected devices like wearables and virtual reality is more important.
“While fulfilling this week’s orders for HTC Vive, a limited number of individuals were affected by auto cancellation due to processing issues with financial institutions. We’re actively working to resolve this, and have already reinstated orders for some customers. We want to assure our customers that we’ll work with them to process their payment so they can receive their Vive when they were expecting it. If you pre-ordered a Vive, we encourage you to contact your financial institution to notify them of upcoming charges.”
Other companies such as Samsung, Google offer various VR “hardware”. And with the companies such as McDonald’s and Coke turning their packaging into VR viewers, it seems that corporate world is currently aiding its brilliance to the consumers.
HTC 10 is now approved by FCC, which makes this phone almost ready for launch. This smartphone is expected to get officially launched on an online event to be held on 12th April. An interesting information from the regulatory authority revealed that there are actually two new models upcoming from HTC with model numbers 2PS6200 and 2PS6500.
However, there are no photos available in the documents which can reveal the looks of this upcoming smartphone from the Taiwanese giant. On the other hand, HTC has requested FCC to withhold the public information disclosure. It is also not clear currently that what will be the difference between these two handsets, but we can guess it to get it network bands support.
As far specs are concerned, this upcoming smartphone from the Taiwanese giant will sport a 5.1 inch QHD Super LCD 5 display. It will be powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset, 4GB RAM and USB Type C port. There are also hints that HTC 10 will get a very compelling camera with 12MP count. We can expect this smartphone to come in a variety of colors such as black front with black or silver rear and a white front with white or gold rear.
We already know that HTC 10 will be announced on 12th April but now a new leak also gives us an idea about when will this phone go on sale. As per the reports, this device will be released on 15th April in the home country of the Taiwanese giant.
This smartphone will get a design pattern almost similar to the One A9 phone from HTC. It was earlier expected to be announced at the MWC event in Barcelona, where most of the flagship phones have already been unveiled. But then HTC was as usual late with the dates and rumors set an official announcement for March end. However, this date was also delayed to 11th April and now finally 12th April is set as the date for the official announcement of this smartphone.
There are some new rumors claiming that this smartphone will come to stores starting 15th April. However, there are still no details on the pricing of this handset. These reports seem true as with the launch of the One M8 phone, the Taiwanese giant managed to start selling it on Verizon the very same day it was announced.
Since, we got the leaked picture showing #powerof10 this company has been under the leak spree. The most current information leaked by the manufacturer suggests that this phone will come with in-house BoomSound Audio technology. Also, we don’t have any clue on whether this smartphone will sport dual firing speakers or not.
HTC’s 10 will get a 5.15 inch QHD Super LCD 5 display with better quality viewing angles. This handset comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4GB RAM. There is a 12 MP UltraPixel snapper, which will be very compelling.
HTC has confirmed that its next generation flagship phone will be officially unveiled on 12th April. This smartphone was initially known as One M10 but is now been named as HTC 10. Today, the company shared some more information about its new handset.
As per a new teaser, this device will get the “Boom Sound” technology from the Taiwanese giant. We know it well that the BoomSound is among the trademark features of the tech giant’s previous flagship devices such as One M9, M8 and M7. All these smartphones are well known for delivering superior sound, with a combination of dual front facing speakers, built-in amplifier and software optimization.
With this new teaser image, the Taiwanese giant is trying to tell that the speakers of HTC 10 have a smaller footprint. These will be as powerful as the ones available in the older One M flagship devices. Apart from the BoomSound, this smartphone is also expected to feature a 5.1 inch or 5.2 inch Quad HD Super LCD 5 display.
There wit will be “World First, World Class, front and back” cameras, which was recently confirmed via teaser. It will come packed with 3,000 mAh battery and 4GB RAM for faster processing speed. HTC has provided it with the latest Android Marshmallow operating system with Sense 8.0 user interface. Just like the other flagship smartphones such as Samsung Galaxy S7 and LG G5, the HTC’s 10 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip.
HTC 10 is already seen in several leaks and renders, the most recent one was focused on the “World Class” camera. Now, there are reports that the leakster @evleaks has revealed some new information about this flagship phone of the Taiwanese giant. It has been provided by a Super LCD 5 display and 3,000 mAh battery which has capacity to last for long hours.
HTC Desire 816 dual SIM is now receiving Android 6.0 Marshmallow update with Sense 7.0 user interface. This update is currently rolling out in Saudi Arabia in two parts, with the first one around 55MB in size and the second one weighing about 1GB.
As per reports, the first part of the update prepares your phone for Marshmallow while the second part installs the Android 6.0. This new update includes the usual Marshmallow goodies such as Google Now on Tap and redesigned app permissions. However, you will be surprised to see that the official Desire 816 dual SIM Marshmallow update page does not list Doze as an included feature.
The leakster says that this smartphone will sport a Super LCD 5 display and not the AMOLED one. For the users who are hearing about the Super LCD for the first time, here are the saying from Wikipedia:
“Super LCD differs from a regular LCD in that it does not have an air gap between the outer glass and the display element. This produces lessglare and makes the user feel “closer” to the display itself. Super LCD’s benefits also include lower power consumption and improved outdoor visibility.”
Apart from the display tech, the leakster @evleaks also revealed a 3,000 mAh battery for this smartphone, which is better than the 2,840 mAh battery in the predecessor. Other rumored specifications of the HTC 10 phone include a 5.1 inch display. There is a Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4GB RAM for faster processing.
HTC’s phone has an internal storage capacity of 32GB which is expandable and is also provided with a USB Type C port. HTC will make this phone official sometime in next month.
It seems that we will not see a Windows logo on a HTC smartphone ever again or either anytime soon. The HTC One M8 for Windows released back in the year 2014 was basically a Windows Phone running version of the Android One M8 phone. So, when there were rumors that HTC’s upcoming flagship will get a Windows 10 model, some people thought that the company will pull the same stunt with this phone as well, just like it did with the One M8 in the past.
Although the One M9 did not get a Windows Phone variant but still there were some expectations from the One M10 to come running Windows 10 as well. According to the latest rumors, this upcoming Windows phone model of the Taiwanese giant was to be called HTC 10 and not HTC One M10 anymore. But now there are some leaks from @evleaks, Evan Blass, stating that this smartphone will not get an iteration of the HTC 10 running Windows 10 mobile.
So, we can say that the Taiwanese giant will stay with the Android operating system for its high-end smartphone, at least this year. On the other hand, if you are looking for a high-end Windows powered phone then you can go for the smartphone from some other manufacturers who recently announced their flagship phones at the MWC event.
