Samsung Galaxy S7 will get the always on feature

Samsung is expected to unveil its next generation flagship phone, Galaxy S7, at the MWC event on 21st February. We have already been hearing rumors about the Always On display on the upcoming flagship phone of the Korean giant. And there has been some credible information as well.

Now, there is some new information from a Russian tech blogger Eldar Murtazin who is confirmed the same. This tech blogger has a decent record when it comes to the smartphone leaks, so we can believe this information revealed to be true.

So, we can say that this upcoming phone of the Korean giant will get Always On Display feature, which is already confirmed for the soon to be released LG G5 phone.

Samsung Galaxy S7 gets first live shots

Samsung has confirmed that it will unveil its next generation flagship phone, Galaxy S7, on 21st February, which is one day before the MWC event. This phone has been the subject of rumors since last few months now and has already got some specs leaked. Recently, we reported that the Galaxy S7 smartphone will get the wireless charging pad which is now also listed with a UK retailer Clove.

Now, as the deadline for the announcement of this eagerly anticipated smartphone inches nearer, the first ever live shots of this handset have started popping up online. These leaks have come out from Vietnam and look quite reliable. As per these leaked pictures, this smartphone will get a curved back with a non-existing camera bump just like suggested by the previous rumors.

It can’t be said whether the material on the back panel is glass but if it’s so then it could be because of the prototype nature of this handset. A shiny metal frame can also be spotted through these leaked pictures. It is suggested that this metal frame will be made using magnesium material and not aluminum.

In addition to this information, the photos confirm a lot of the previously suggested specs for the S7 phone. Recently, the phone was spotted at Zauba, which is an export-import regulatory website in India. It is already benchmarked for its Snapdragon 820 chipset and is also expected to get another variant with Exynos 8890 chip. According to the reports, the latter is said to be 15% more powerful both in the CPU and GPU in comparison to the former chipset.
There are also some details revealing the waterproofing and good battery performance with capability to get 0 to 80% charged in 30 minutes duration. However, the two day battery life rumor is not yet proved even in these images.

As per leakster, the Britecell rear camera has 12MP resolution count with an aperture of f/1.7. A couple of prices are also mentioned for the S7 phone i.e. 16.49 million dong for original S7 and 19.9 million dong for the Galaxy S7 Edge handset.

Also, there are reports that this device will be introduced at Vietnam on 3rd March and will go on sale in the country on 18th March, which is a week later than the phone is expected to go on sale in Europe

Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will land in UK after release

Samsung anger many Note fans in Europe last year by not releasing the Galaxy Note 5 phone in the continent. We can’t comment on the reason why Korean giant chose to release only Galaxy S6 Edge+ in Europe and not the Note 5 device, at first. However, the Note 5 phone became available for the users in Europe as well. On the other hand, many early adopters were not happy with the fact that they were forced to pick up a smartphone with a curved screen when they wanted to get their hands-on a S Pen.

Now, there are reports that Samsung has learned from this torment and will never repeat the story of 2015 again. Also, the strategy of the company for its upcoming phone is exactly opposite in UK atleast. As per reports, the Korean giant will bring the Note 6 smartphone to UK from the beginning while on the other hand the Galaxy S7 Edge+ will never be released in the country. We can assume the same thing for continental Europe as well.

This information came out from a source which is reliable as one of the major UK networks. The reason for this change in the strategy of the company has to do totally with the blacklash from the Note fans in the country. Also, the sales reported from S6 Edge+ in UK were not upto the marks; this might be the reason why the users in the UK will not see the successor of S6 Edge+.

Samsung will release its upcoming Galaxy Note 6 phone sometime in August this year. Currently, the company is busy with the S7 and S7 Edge smartphones expected to be announced on 21st February, a day before the MWC event in Barcelona. Both these handsets will go on sale in early March.

Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge appeared via FCC

Samsung is soon to release its Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge phones, both these smartphones will be unveiled one day ahead of the MWC event. Recently, the Galaxy S7 phone was spotted on the 3C China’s compulsory certification and now there are reports that these phones have appeared via the FCC. The Korean giant has confirmed that it will unveil its upcoming flagship phone on 21st February i.e. one day ahead of the MWC event.

The manufacturer is already busy getting a head start and in preparing the logistics before launching this smartphone. Samsung’s S7 and S7 Edge will get model numbers SM G930A and SM G935A, respectively. However, the documents released via FCC certification authority don’t contain images of this device but they do contain the model numbers for various variants that will be released for this device.

As per report, FCC authority also lists down various bands, connectivity options and certifications namely Bluetooth, NFC and Dual band Wi-Fi.

Samsung will provide its upcoming Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge models with either a 5.2 inch display or a bigger 5.7 inch screen on the Edge phone. These might come powered by either an Exynos 8890 or a Snapdragon 820 chipset as reported earlier. The phone is already certified with both the processors expected to come packed on it. Recently, Samsung confirmed that the camera for the S7 phone will be just 0.8 mm wide.

Samsung Galaxy S7 back design shown via Leaked Photo

Samsung’s S7 phone recently passed through 3C certification, which is a compulsory certification in China. Thus, confirming that it will soon be rolled out in the country. According to the reports, the leaked photo shows the backs of both the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge handsets. The photo reveals Samsung’s plans to retain the glass design on its upcoming flagship phones. Here we are assuming that the Galaxy S7 and its variants will get a similar back to the Galaxy Note 5, which is slightly curved towards the edges.

According to the previous leaks, the phone is supposed to get four versions i.e. Galaxy S7, S7 Plus, S7 Edge and S7 Edge Plus. For specifications, we expect a choice between the Exynos 8890 and Snapdragon 820 chipsets. There are also rumors suggesting for a 12MP rear camera with ½.0 inches sensor. Samsung has now officially announced that it will reveal the Galaxy S7 smartphone on 21st February Sunday in Barcelona, one day before the MWC 2016 event.

Sony Xperia C6 render shows bezel-less display

A tech leaker on Twitter has now released a high quality render showing the upcoming Xperia C6 smartphone of Sony. According to this newly released render, the yet unannounced Xperia C6 will look like the Xperia C5 Ultra handset of the Sony, which was introduced in the mid of 2015.
Just like the C5 Ultra from the Korean giant, the upcoming Sony Xperia C6 will also get a near bezel-less display. It is expected that the new bezel-less display will help this phone to stand out against the crowd. A new render of the Xperia C6 handset was released by @OnLeaks, revealing that the image is constructed based on the factory schematics of this smartphone.

Leak Sony Xperia C6
Currently, there is not much information available about this handset but it is revealed from the rumors that this smartphone will come powered by an octa-core processor. There is a MediaTek Helio P10 chipset under the hood, which is clocked at 2 GHz speed. According to the rumors, this upcoming phone from Sony will get a display between 5 to 6 inches with 1080 pixels resolution.
