Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) and Galaxy J5 (2016) got their first photo leaks

Samsung launched the Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 as its first smartphones with a front facing camera featuring LED flash. Now, the reports reveal that the company is getting prepared to release the successors to both these smartphones, namely Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016).

However, Samsung has not yet announced its new Galaxy J5 and J7 handsets but we can now take a look at these phones. The phones have now got their first photo leaks from China’s Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center, which has now given approval to both these smartphones.

However, both these new handsets look almost the same but the J7 is larger than the former. Samsung’s Galaxy J7 is provided with a 5.5 inch display with 1080 pixels resolution while on the other hand the Galaxy J5 handset has a 5.2 inch display with 720 pixels resolution. In comparison to the predecessors Galaxy J5 and J7, these new devices are more elegant but will come made with the plastic material.

Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) will get two variants this year, which will come with model numbers SM-J7108 and SM-J7109. Both these handsets are different only in their processing power, the SM-J7108 comes powered by an octa core processor clocked at 1.6 GHz speed. And the SM-J7109 will be provided with an unknown octa core processor with four cores clocked at 1.5 GHz and other four cores clocked at 1.2 GHz.

The Galaxy J7 features LTE and an internal storage of 16GB which can be further expanded with the help of card slot. There is a 13MP primary camera and 5MP front facing camera for clicking better quality images even in dim light. This device is packed with a massive 4,300 mAh battery and 3GB RAM for faster processing.

With a smaller screen having lower pixel resolution, the J5 (2016) is less advanced in comparison to the Galaxy J7 phone. The camera appears to be the same 13MP and 5MP on the front side of the phone for clicking selfie pictures. It has a qua core processor with 1.2 GHz clock speed and 2GB Ram on board. There is an internal storage of 16GB with further expansion possible.

Both the upcoming Galaxy J7 (2016) and Galaxy J5 (2016) handsets will get auto laser focus for better quality in low light conditions. These are the first ever smartphones from the Korean giant to feature this kind of auto focus technology, which was first seen on the LG’s G3 handset. Currently, the J7 and J5 are running on the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system but we hope that the successor will get the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) Exynos version is now benchmarked

Samsung Galaxy J7 2016 is caught again in a benchmark database. However, this time we are treated with the details of the Exynos version of this handset and from two different benchmarks i.e. GeekBench and GFXBench.

It seems that just like its predecessor the Korean giant will released two models for the original Galaxy J7 handset. One of these models will run on Samsung’s own Exynos chip and the other one runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chip on board.

However, the Exynos S0C chipset inside the Galaxy J7 phone will be the new one i.e. Exynos 7870. This chip is the successor of the Exynos 7580 chipset found in the previous J7 handset. Samsung’s previously released Galaxy J7 smartphone will be powered by an octa core processor with Cortex A53 architecture clocked at 1.7 GHz speed in these two tests.

Samsung S7 has a 5.5 inch Touchscreen display with 720 pixels resolution. This phone has a Snapdragon chip and 2GB RAM. There is a built-in storage of 16GB, a 13MP rear camera and a front facing sensor of 5MP count. Samsung’s Exynos powered Galaxy J7 phone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow software in the benchmarks.

This smartphone is expected to get a 5.5 inch display but the resolution it will get is not Full HD. However, the chipset seems to be unchanged and is kept the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chip. A similar kind of thing goes with the camera of this handset. There is a 13MP rear snapper for clicking better quality picture with the autofocus and LED flash. The front facing snapper has a 5 mega pixel count for clicking selfie images. There is an internal storage of 16GB, which though is also consistent with its predecessor.
