Taking the wraps off a new smartphone, Sony is calling its new launch as Sony Xperia XZ Premium. It has been reported that Sony has taken on the iPhone 7.
On 27th February, 2017, at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Sony has unveiled their latest flagship.
This Japanese firm’s latest handset is loaded with a lot of ‘world’s firts’ and looks to take charge on the new Apples’s latest iPhone 7. With each of its new launches, Sony can never be blamed for trying out something new.Infact, with the 2015 flagship Xperia Z5 Premium, it is the first ever to exhibit a 4K resolution display on a smartphone and it features the first ever memory-stacked image sensor, a brand new 19 MP camera sensor, that will be capable of capturing higher quality slow motion videos at 960fps. Such recording speeds have been achieved by professional video equipment’s only.
All this is possible because of the phone’s super-fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, which is even competent of Cat 16 LTE download speeds of 1GB per second. This also means that we can fill up the plentiful 64GB internal storage in a minute or little more of downloading.
Some of the Sony’s innovations have been a half heated attempts, but this Xperia XZ Premium will be a different story. All of these attributes has made the Xperia XZ Premium the best phone unveiled at MWC 2017. It is just not measly upgraded but it is completely an interesting story all together. No doubt, it has every potential to create innovative standards for mobile imaging and display; hence being a story of many first-evers for smartphones.
But yea, although the creation comes with a long list of world’s first class features, the handset’s success will partly depend on its price, which the Sony company has yet to reveal.
