If the latest buzz are to be believed, Sony’s flagship phone is about to get a second outing Sony Xperia X 2017. With the Sony Xperia X already a year old, a successor is due anytime soon. • A 5 or 5.5-inch screen
• A 1080p or QHD resolution
Though there have been no real hints about its design, it is expected to be the continuation of Sony’s usual boxy design language, along with a metal back- like what the original Xperia X has. However, it can even be inspired by the frosted back of the Sony Xperia XZs or the mirrored rear on the Xperia XZ Premium.
This new device may even be water-resistant like some of the other Sony handsets like that of Xperia XZs. However, since the Xperia X isn’t, it’s better to wait till official reports. Experts suggest that it could either be metal or glass, since Sony has used both of these in the last year.
